"You will know the tree by the fruit it bears..."

As a relatively new photographer I always welcome new challenges.  When I was approached to take some photo's of an extended family of 18 I immediately was excited by the idea.  Excited, and admittedly a little nervous!  However, when the day came it couldn't of been a better day and it couldn't of been a nicer family!

"What greater thing is there for human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life, to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories." (George Eliot)

"A family is a haven of rest, a sanctuary of peace...
And most of all, a harbor of love."

"It takes two men to make one brother."

"I walk beside you, wherever you are, whatever it takes, no matter how far."

"You aren't wealthy until you have something money can't buy"

"It was nice growing up with someone like you - someone to lean on, someone to count on... Someone to tell on."

"Where love is home, home that the feet may leave...
 But not our hearts."

"Only love can be divided endlessly...
And still not diminish." (Anne Morrow Lindbergh)

After the actual photo shoot was over, I was able to stick around and grab a couple of great candid shots.  The jeans were done and it was time for bathing suits, sprinklers and water guns!

"The laughter of girls is, and ever was...
Among the delightful sounds of the earth."

"A perfect summer day to a little boy means, a scrape on the knee, mud on his face and collecting bugs in gardens."

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever: it's loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness."

"A boy is... Trust with dirt on his face, beauty with a cut on his finger...
Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair, and the hope of the future with a frog in its pocket."

"Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort." (Franklin Roosevelt)

"Where does family start? It starts with...
A young man falling in love with a girl."

"Where is home?
Home is where the heart
Can laugh without shyness.
Home is where the hearts tears
Can dry at their own pace."
