A couple of weekends ago I had the chance to get to know this wonderful family and was excited to hopefully preserve some memories for them as well!  I had such a great time taking their pictures, everyone was genuinely so excited to get their picture taken that it made my job super easy!

The kids were so great and unbelievably cooperative!

We made sure that everyone had their moment in the spotlight and were able to capture each personality while doing it!

 They have a great tradition of letting the kids do whatever they want in one family shot - I love it!

As I sit here and contemplate this blog, I have realized I have been friends with the mother of this cutie for over 13 years and I'm not quite sure where the time has gone.  What I do know is that over that time we have developed a friendship that is so near and dear to my heart, and I am truly blessed. 

A few months ago, I had the honor to capture a special time in their lives with my lens.  I was able to help preserve memories from a time that was full of excitement, anticipation, and love.  And just last Saturday they gave me the opportunity to once again grab a few shots of the sweet boy who was the result of that love.  And as a bonus, I also got a few snuggles in on the side, which, let's face it, is all that really matters!  

Seriously - look at this face. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I am so in love with that face!

This little guy was so patient with us - he was the perfect model!

This was towards the end of our session... he was just showing his diva side.

But being the good boy he is - he was easily pacified!
