A happy family is but an earlier Heaven.

Sometimes the best pictures come from a place that is familiar and of comfort to a family, especially when there are kids involved!  That is why when Beth suggested we bag our idea of going to a nearby park and just head across the street from their house, I agreed immediately!  And it turned out to be the perfect spot to grab some cute shots!

"The best inheritance a parent can give to her children is a few minutes of their time each day."

"In the happiest of our childhood memories, our parents were happy, too." (Robert Brault)

What cutie pies, too bad we are missing one!!

Whatever they grow up to be, they are still our children...
and the most important of all things we can give to them is unconditional love...
Not a love that depends on anything at all except that they are our children."

Family is what grounds you.

"Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end."

"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child.... there are seven million."

I love everything about this shot, it is one of my all time favorites.

"There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air is softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again." (Elizabeth Lawrence)

"A daughter is a miracle that never ceases to be miraculous... full of beauty and forever beautiful... loving and caring and truly amazing."

"There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite so special as the love between a mother and a son."

"Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.  I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you in straight paths.  When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble." (Proverbs 4: 10-12)

"The strength of a family, like the strength of an army, is in its loyalty to each other."

Simply, Classic.  I love it!

"Don't ask that your kids live up to your expectations.  Let your kids be who they are, and your expectations will be in breathless pursuit."
